Hold left mouse — troops surge to the nearest point of your front (from that region's pool) and push there. Right‑click pin (max 3) · Q/E spread · Wheel / pinch zoom · Right‑drag, Shift‑drag or WASD pan · minimap click to jump. 0 over a nation (or the button in its panel) proposes a temporary alliance; allies never fight, trade freely, and towers never fire on them. 1 / 2 / 3 / 4 / 5 then click your land to build (costs gold). Right‑click enemy land for a command wheel: spread push, power push, tower target. Outposts, harbours and cannon towers only work within 14 cells of one of your cities. Click your harbour, then any coast, to ship troops. Click a cannon tower to set what it shoots at first.
Disconnected chunks of land are separate regions with their own population. Ships are the only way to move troops between them. Space pause · Esc cancel

FRONTLINE
A territory war where the only decision that matters is where on the line you put your troops. Now with islands, gold, cities, outposts, harbours and ships.
How it works. You are a blob. Each connected chunk of your land is a region with its own population. Troops grow fastest when a region is far below its cap (100% empty, 75% half full, 50% full) and never past it. Land sets the cap; cities raise it and speed growth. Fronts have a speed limit: beyond a surplus of 6 troops per cell, extra density does not make the line move faster — it only makes it harder to stop.
Troops only fight on the front line. Hold the mouse to pour a region's pool onto one spot of its front — the border advances where your density beats theirs.
Defenders are tough: an owned cell defends at 1.6× its density plus a base; defence outposts quadruple that over a wide hatched area. A region over its cap loses population until it fits.
Land gives gold, which is stored in your cities (300 each) — capture a city and you take its gold. Gold buys cities, defence outposts, harbours and cannon towers. Outposts, harbours and cannon towers only work within range of one of your cities. Harbours launch ships to any coast — a landing takes one cell — and send trade ships to other harbours nearby; every arrival pays both nations gold. Cannon towers sink ships and blast enemy land back to wilderness.
