Controls: move with the mouse (or WASD); run into enemies to fight. Hold left click to sprint (×1.3, troops ignore enemies, −50% damage for 2 s after). Right click to throw a spear volley at the cursor — every soldier picks a target and leads it — but your troops can't melee for 2 s.
Growing: 75% of the enemies you kill join you, and you regenerate +2 troops/s. Uphill is exponentially slower, downhill faster; rivers slow you 40%; stragglers far from your army rush to catch up. Wiped out? You respawn with 20 troops and the war goes on.
15 towers, each held by 100–150 neutral guards. Clear a garrison (volleys help), walk troops in to claim it and man it (up to 200, 5/s). Every man inside shoots enemies in range every 5 ± 2 s; every 3 damage dealt to a tower kills one man inside. Enemies contest towers too. Man 10 towers to win. Lose your last troop outside your towers and you're defeated (you keep the towers on respawn).
No towers. Rolling hills, rivers and forests. Hunt weaker armies, absorb their survivors and snowball. The first army — you or any enemy — with 1000 troops on the field wins.
Horde rules on jagged mountain terrain with slopes about 3× steeper. Ridges are walls, valleys are highways: fight for the passes and use downhill charges. First army to 1000 troops wins.
Pick a mode to start. 24 enemy armies roam a looping 9600×9600 field.
